Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymph Drainage
Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) Vodder technique is a specialized massage therapy aimed at stimulating the lymphatic system to enhance the removal of waste products, toxins, and excess fluid from the body. Developed in Paris, France, by Danish Dr. Emil Vodder and his wife Dr. Estrid Vodder in the 1930s, this technique involves gentle, rhythmic movements that mimic the natural rhythm of the lymphatic system. Using precise hand movements and light pressure, therapists strategically stimulate lymph nodes and lymphatic vessels to encourage lymph flow and improve lymphatic circulation. This gentle yet powerful therapy is often utilized in the management of lymphedema, post-surgical recovery, and various inflammatory conditions.

Vibrational Sound Association
Vibrational sound therapy is a profound healing modality that reaches deep into the cellular level to restore balance and vitality. By immersing oneself in the gentle embrace of soothing sounds and vibrations, the body’s energy flow is harmonized, guiding it back towards a state of healthy alignment. The detrimental effects of stress, which disrupt the natural flow of energy, are counteracted through this therapy, as it addresses both the physical and energetic aspects of well-being. Therapeutic singing bowls are placed directly on the body, harnessing the power of sound wave vibrations to engage with clients on a physical and energetic level simultaneously. As the bowls resonate, generating vibrations that permeate the body, practitioners facilitate a holistic experience that not only addresses physical tension but also nurtures spiritual and energetic connections. The benefits of vibrational sound therapy are manifold, ranging from stress reduction and pain alleviation to improved sleep quality and heightened creativity. By easing blockages, enhancing concentration, and balancing energy fields and chakras, this therapy offers a comprehensive approach to holistic wellness, promoting profound healing and inner harmony.

Foot Reflexology
Foot reflexology is a specialized form of massage therapy that operates on the principle that specific pressure points in the feet correspond to various organs and systems in the body. Advocates believe that by applying targeted pressure to these points, overall health and vitality can be improved. Central to reflexology are theories revolving around energy flow within the body. It is believed that energy moves through electromagnetic fields and can sometimes become obstructed. Reflexology aims to alleviate these blockages, facilitating better communication between organs and the body’s energy pathways. Additionally, proponents suggest that the pressure applied during reflexology may help disperse lactic acid crystals, which can impede energy flow, further promoting balance and well-being.
Testimonials
Valentina F.
“I have had terrible posture for as long as I can remember, but I didn’t begin to associate pain or discomfort with it until recently. For over three years I have felt an increase in pain, mainly reaching my joints, back, and neck that I can attribute to a couple of things. I’ve always had flat feet, I sleep curled up, or on my stomach with my right arm pinned under me, and I am a lanky person with little muscle mass. My shoulders seem to be in a perpetual shrug, my legs tensed, and my wrists and ankles would lock into place, never providing me with a sense of true stability or control. After leaving Mary’s, my right shoulder was level with my left shoulder for the first time in years, my wrists were open and lengthened (noticeably), and I kept anticipating the typical creaks and pains that come with movement and experienced nothing but fluidity and relief. My ankles were no longer tight and compressed, but completely open and I felt truly stable on my feet the second I got off the massage bed. I have never felt better than the morning after my appointment, at least not since I was a kid.”

“Booking a massage with Mary before my vacations has become a must-do ritual for me, rather than booking one when I’m away with someone who doesn’t understand my body the way she does. She leaves me feeling incredibly relaxed and rejuvenated, setting the perfect tone for my time away.”

“Every time we’re home from college, we make sure to schedule a ‘Mary Massage’ because there’s simply nothing like it. We look forward to this reset every time we’re back home. Highly recommended.”

“As a recreational climber and someone who is generally active, I’ve had my fair share of bodily issues ranging from random stiff joints to inflamed tendons. I visited Mary for her to work on my nagging shoulder. Her comforting and relaxing workspace allowed me to instantly relax. She talked me through what she was doing, and what I should do in the future to prevent or to treat any flare ups in the future. Things like stretches, or muscles/positions to target. I felt almost instant release of the knots in my upper back and connecting tissue and just had an amazing experience overall.”
